膜片和膜盒是一种可以在垂直于它的挠性面方向移动的力敏元件。它在仪表中的作用是将压力或压差转换成膜片、膜盒的中心位移或中心集中力输出，传给指示器或执行机构。也用来把仪表和被测介质进行隔离，达到保护仪表和提高精度、减小脉动的作用。具有重量轻、体积小、结构简单、性能可靠、输出位移范围大、价格低廉的优点。
